We have a message for anyone & everyone who reckons they’ll be OK to venture out this Easter weekend to socialise.
Try to imagine having to choose which 6 of your family members can go to a loved-one’s funeral. Just 6….
Imagine the funeral taking place NOT in a church, or your home, but in the vast chapel at the Crematorium or at a graveside….
Imagine not being able to sit beside your brother/sister or mother/father at the crematorium….
Imagine not being able to shake the hand of the minister or celebrant who carried out the service…
Imagine having no flowers on the coffin….
Imagine having no venue to return to after the funeral to properly celebrate your loved-one’s life…
Imagine; please imagine; not being allowed to hug or be hugged by family members who don’t live with you – Just when you NEED that hug…
Imagine this all being the case whether your loved-one has died from COVID-19 or ANY other means….
Sadly this is not imagination, this is reality for our clients.
We’re seeing this happen every time we do a funeral now and it’s tearing the heart out of us seeing people who are grieving not get the funeral they would have wanted for their loved ones.
You don’t need to go out this weekend.
STAY AT HOME.
HELP BRING THIS SITUATION TO AN END QUICKER!
